Ghatim Kabbara, CEO & Co-Founder
Ghatim is responsible for leading the company and managing operations at Safira Solutions, also serving as its Chief Executive Officer. Ghatim has direct responsibilities over Strategic Alliances, Partnerships & Business Development. Ghatim is a seasoned executive with great entrepreneur experience in the United States, Europe and Latin America. Prior to his current role, Ghatim worked for several financial and technology consulting firms such as Morgan Stanley, DMR Consulting (Now Everis), YupiMSN and 24/7 Real Media.
Ghatim holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with majors in International Businesses and Marketing from Florida International University. Ghatim is a Dutch national and speaks English, Spanish, Arabic, Dutch, French and Papiamentu.
Alex Garcia Blay, Business Development Director
Alex is in charge of all revenue-generating activities and other strategic duties associated to corporate development for the Company. Alex has direct responsibilities over Marketing and Sales, and oversees the financial planning and fund raising activities including Investor Relations. Prior to his current role, Alex has held various senior management consulting positions with leading firms. His experience includes an entrepreneurial project with a start-up in the education sector and a position as an operations engineer in the consumer goods industry. In 2006 he joined Safira Solutions as a partner.
Alex is an Industrial Engineer with majors in Management from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya & Université de Sherbrooke. He also holds an International MBA from Instituto de Empresa. Alex is a Spanish national and speaks Catalan, Spanish, French and English.
Tim de Somere, Operations Director & Co-Founder
Tim is responsible for company operations and for managing projects for clients. Tim has direct responsibilities over Client Services & Support, IT Infrastructure and Server Maintenance, as well as providing collaborative support to R&D activities. Prior to his current role, Tim worked in a pan-European telephone advertising company based in Dublin, and afterwards, for a European Internet Real Estate agency, where he was responsible for managing IT infrastructure and operations.
Tim holds a degree in International Relations from Universiteit Gent in Belgium and a degree in Internet applications from the FitzWilliam Insitute in Ireland. Tim is a Belgium national and speaks Dutch, French, Spanish and English.
Alejandro Rodríguez Trigueros, Chief Technical Arquitect & Co-Founder
Alejandro is responsible for leading all Research & Development activities related to the WapSiteBuilder® platform and all other related technologies. Alejandro has direct responsibilities over the maintenance and evolution of the WapSiteBuilder® as well as handling complex integrations with other applications and information systems. Prior to his current role, he shared his time developing management information systems for local companies and teaching computing at two separate educational institutions. In 2001, he moved to Barcelona to join a leading technology consulting firm, where he played a crucial role in the implementation of sophisticated management information systems for several Blue Chip Companies.
Alejandro holds a degree as an Engineer of Advanced Computer Systems from the Universidad de Alicante. Alejandro is a Spanish national and speaks Spanish, Catalan and English.
